Plain-language summary
We collect the data needed to run a private prompt library: account details, saved prompt content, folders, tags, usage events, billing status, and support messages.
We use that data to provide sync, search, billing, analytics, security, support, and product improvement.
We do not sell personal information. Prompt content is not public and is only processed to provide the product features you use.
1. What this policy covers
This Privacy Policy explains how I Save Prompts collects, uses, shares, and retains information when you use our website, web application, APIs, and related services.
The product is designed as a private workspace for AI prompts. Because saved prompts may contain business context, we treat prompt content as user-owned account data.
2. Information we collect
- Account information, including email address, user id, avatar, authentication provider, and profile settings.
- Prompt library data, including prompt titles, content, descriptions, folders, tags, variables, AI source, favorites, pins, archive state, version history, copy history, and timestamps.
- Billing information, including plan, billing interval, subscription status, product identifiers, checkout status, and payment-provider customer references. Full payment card details are handled by our payment provider, not stored by I Save Prompts.
- Product analytics, including page views, feature usage, plan events, device/browser information, and approximate technical metadata that helps us understand reliability and usability.
- Operational logs, including security events, audit logs, request metadata, error reports, rate-limit data, and webhook processing records.
- Support and communication data, including messages you send us and transactional emails we send about your account, billing, deletion requests, and security-relevant changes.
3. How we use information
- Provide, secure, and operate your prompt library.
- Authenticate users and protect accounts from unauthorized access.
- Sync prompts, folders, tags, versions, copy history, and account settings.
- Process subscriptions, taxes, checkout, billing status, and paid access.
- Send transactional emails about billing, account deletion, recovery, and important product changes.
- Measure reliability, performance, adoption, and product quality.
- Investigate abuse, prevent fraud, enforce limits, and comply with legal obligations.
4. AI-assisted enrichment
When AI-assisted prompt enrichment is configured and used, prompt content may be sent to an AI provider to infer metadata such as title, source AI, type, suggested folder, tags, and variables. The service does not ask the model to rewrite your prompt unless a future feature clearly says so.
If AI enrichment is not configured, the product uses local deterministic inference instead. You can edit generated metadata before saving.
5. How we share information
We share information only with service providers needed to run the product, such as authentication, database, hosting, payments, email delivery, analytics, monitoring, and AI enrichment providers.
- Supabase for authentication, database, row-level security, and storage.
- Vercel for hosting and deployment.
- Dodo Payments for checkout, subscription status, taxes, refunds, and payment events.
- Resend for transactional email.
- PostHog for product analytics.
- Sentry for error monitoring and reliability diagnostics.
- Google Gemini or another configured AI provider for optional prompt enrichment and Smart Research.
6. Retention
- Active prompt library data is kept while your account is active or until you delete it.
- Deleted prompts, templates, research items, and folders stay in Trash for 7 days before permanent deletion.
- If a paid plan expires and your account returns to Free, over-limit prompts and folders are retained for 90 days after the paid period ends so you have time to renew or export.
- Account deletion requests are scheduled with a 7-day recovery window before permanent deletion processing.
- Operational logs, audit logs, payment events, and email delivery records may be retained as needed for security, accounting, legal, fraud-prevention, and reliability purposes.
7. Your choices and rights
- You can update account settings from the app.
- You can export supported account data from the product APIs and settings surfaces as they are made available.
- You can delete prompts, restore eligible trash items, or request account deletion.
- You can contact support@isaveprompts.com for access, deletion, correction, portability, or privacy questions.
8. Security
We use row-level security, server-side authorization, input validation, rate limiting, audit logs, secure environment variables, monitored errors, and restricted service-role access to protect user data.
No internet service can be guaranteed perfectly secure, but the application is designed so private user data is not trusted to client-side checks alone.
9. Children
I Save Prompts is intended for users who are at least 13 years old, or older if required by the laws where they live. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below that age.
